A reminder that our upcoming **Working Bee and Annual General Meeting** will be held on **21 February**.  Working Bee from 8am AGM at 4pm.   We would greatly appreciate your support as we prepare the club for the year ahead and get all the wet season growth under control.  **Working Bee Tasks:**  Mowing - Whippersnipping - Weed control -  pruning Cleaning the clubhouse, toilets, kitchen, and office. Cleaning out/reorganising container Facelift for the Equipment Trailer Stocktake Kitchen/Ribbons/equipment   As the club has limited tools available, please bring along any equipment you can to help with the above tasks. Matt Mauloni is back - and he's in the postcode this Sunday!  Horsemanship Clinic is being held Sunday 28 September. You will need to be a member to attend. Cost: $150 Age: All Ages Limit: 20 people   This clinic will be run by Kris and Matt. It will involve: Ground Work Group riding tuition Feet, Floats and other F-ing Things (Tips, tricks and breaking bad habbits) Everyone will also recieve a individual lesson throughout the day. Mechanical cow onsite    Recommend you bring more than one horse (If you can). Young horses welcome :)   Matt is also available for one on one lessons on Monday, which can be arranged over the weekend.

Purchasing a ticket is considered a nomination in the event - I can't change the text fields so please enter your horses name in the text box named "Details". 1 ticket = 1 nomination.  Tickets are only available for members (you will need to be logged in) so please contact us on email dimbulahhpc@gmail.com if you are having trouble with your membership.  Conditions For insurance purposes, riders under 18 years of age must wear ASA standard safety helmets & riding boots. Riders can only nominate in their own age group & may ride a maximum of 2 (two)horses; but each horse must only have 1 (one) rider (assisted & led horses exempt). Assisted riders will not be placed above non assisted riders in any age group. The committee reserves the right to alter, delete, modify or add to the program if necessary. No stallions allowed on the grounds. The judges decision will be final.  

TRAINING DAY STARTING FROM 2PM We are opening the grounds up from lunchtime on Saturday 31 May.  This training day will be a little different to our last one - it will be more structured. There will be four volunteers available for coaching. Please remember this is a volunteer role and who is able to make it may change prior to the event. We will update the page as that happens. For Now, we will have: Jumping Horsemanship - one rein stops, general riding Dry Work - great for our budding campdrafters; working on turns in the camp, speed rating (we don't have any cows, but we'd like to show you things you can practise without cows to improve your drafting) Rope Making - Wind down in the afternoon with some rope making skills  Parade at 5pm - we will be riding in the street parade at 5pm. Would love it you could join us to represent the club. Free camping available - it is the Dimbulah Lion Festival on Satruday so heaps of food options down at the park.

The arena will be open with events set up. Here’s your chance to get a headstart for the next event.
